Not a big fan of the singing, felt like he was spitting out his saliva especially during the last few moments of the song *poor mike* but I do like F.I.R 阿沁's works.

Jay Chou's new song, which is currently the talk of the town...

The song's catchy, radio-friendly and uh-so-poignant with his heartfelt feelings all revealed in the lyrics but all in all, it felt as though the lyrics didn't quite fit with the melody, like how sometimes we are all silly and try to make a song out of our biology text.

Speaking of which, I really need to go back to studying.

This song is very laughable, the lyrics don't quite make sense. Even the english version Cries in a Distance is super hilarious. I think it's meant to instill in the listeners a sense of fear felt by the protagonist and sound poignant but I don't know why, it just sounds super hilarious. Especially for Always Online...3 2 1 I'm always online?? Maybe it's cos I didn't watch the movie...

This song I like, although I'm ashamed to say that I don't really understand the lyrics but I must say they sound...erhm...nice...Bittergourd was very hardworking, she even borrowed the book to have a read to understand the history behind the lyrics...that's 方文山for you...

I should really be inspired by Alonso coming from behind to win but somehow I feel even more impressed and humbled by Massa's reaction after the calamitous race.

Even I couldn't help but feel heart pain for him to lose over such a bizarre incident. It's just so easy to play the blame game.

Timely Reminders...

Today wasn't the best of all days at work with lots of bombshells being thrown at me.

But instead of complaining I shall spend some energy ruminating over the sunday school lessons instead.

Bible study on Nehemiah has turned into a very personal lesson. It seems like every single thing that is being taught is an absolute reflection of the current state I'm in.

Maybe it's because God's word can comfort and provide sustenance and direction in any situation.

Nehemiah (a) waited upon God (b) trusted God and (c) prayed to God (d) had a good plan and (e) gave thanks constantly.

Must remember that God will not give me anything more than what I can bear, although the future seems bleak and I'm inclined to make hasty decisions, I must remember to ask the 3 questions which we learnt:

Is it the Lord's will?

Is it the Lord's way?

Is it the Lord's timing?

At this moment, I'm terribly frustrated with trying to back up files using the program that comes with the new Imation external hdd which I bought ages ago at the PC show.

I thought backing-up should be something fast, simple and idiot-proof but I've just spent the last 2 hours trying to work things out and having the arcsoft program crash on me at least 4 times. Something must be terribly wrong, if not it wouldn't take more than 2 hours to back up less than 1% of files worth 2GB right?
